Discover GPure 3.2 !
The new version of GPure, GPure 3.2, will be presented at JVRC 2010 from September 27th to  October 1st, 2010, Stuttgart, Germany

GPure is used by Airbus in the electromagnetic simulation workflow of the assembled airplane.

Measured benefits:  Data preparation has been reduced from 3 months using former preprocessing tools to 1 week with new concepts based on GPure:

  • Build a bijective link between EMC simulation and DMU
  • Improve preprocessing step using intermediate domain models and automatic process
  • Reuseability of geometric and meshed models

SAMIRA is a platform dedicated to the virtual simulation of maintenance tasks with haptic feedback.

RHEA is a platform dedicated to human centric design. The objective
is to provide a virtual gate allowing to real people to enter in the virtual product and perform various task like in the real live.

GPure is used by Astrium for DMU preparation for SAMIRA and RHEA.

Workflow is now automated at 95% (from ½ day to 5 minutes for data preparation) with other following benefits :

  • Ensure a 100% model quality (surface connection, topology cleaning)
  • Reduce Mockup size from 80 to 95 % (faces number)
  • Enabling to deal with 10 times larger mock-up
  • Reduce by 10 the loading time of the DMU
